A New Chapter Begins!
The Stars School & Learning Center officially opened its doors on September 4th, welcoming our very first students into a school designed to support bright learners who experience challenges such as dyslexia and other language-based learning needs.
On September 25th, we gathered with Mayor Mike Molisse, our dedicated teachers, Stars Board Members, community supporters, and supportive parents to celebrate this milestone with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
This vision would not have been possible without the extraordinary leadership of Dr. Jennifer Curtis, CEO of South Shore Stars, and the tireless work of Anastasia Frank, our new School Director, who guided the School through the rigorous Massachusetts DESE 766 approval process — the designation required for specialized private schools serving students with learning differences.
The Stars School & Learning Center is now officially open, a place where students with dyslexia and related learning challenges can thrive, discover their strengths, and unlock their full potential.
We are grateful to our community, families, and partners for believing in this vision and making it a reality. The journey has just begun!
