A Special Day of Giving with State Street

Our friends from State Street Investment Management returned to Stars headquarters with a thoughtful gift for our preschoolers—gently loved and new stuffed animals.

They also generously volunteered their time to help organize and bag donated books. These books were originally gifted by St. John the Evangelist in Hingham through a Penguin Publishing partnership, made possible by the Alliance for Period Supplies/National Diaper Bank Network and a grant from the Clinton Foundation’s Too Small to Fail program, and will be distributed to Stars families during the upcoming holidays.

A group of our preschoolers joined in the fun, each choosing a new fluffy friend to cuddle up with while listening to the reading of Change Sings – A Children’s Anthem by Amanda Gorman, read by Winne, a State Street volunteer.

It was a joyful day of giving, engagement, and community impact. We are deeply grateful for the ongoing partnership, support, and devotion of our State Street friends and volunteers. See more pictures captured from this joyous day of giving:
