Our Volunteer Partners at Blue Cross Blue Shield Massachusetts Truly Showed Up, Gave Back, and Repeated!

Our valued @Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts partners embodied their Annual Service Day theme—Show Up – Give Back – Repeat—as they arrived at Stars’ Randolph Extended Day Program in torrential downpours, committed to making a lasting impact. And they did just that!

Without hesitation, volunteers signed in, donned rain ponchos, and got to work—weeding the grounds, bagging debris, and planting mums to beautify the property for the fall season. While the drenched playground mulch pile had to wait for a drier day, the team shifted gears to create colorful, inspiring bulletin boards for our afterschool kids to enjoy.

Not only did Blue Cross volunteers bring energy and commitment, but they also took time to write heartfelt pen notes of love, and encouragement as part of their “Showing Up. One Letter at a Time” campaign. These messages of support and gratitude uplift our efforts to provide high-quality early education and youth development programs for children from infancy through age 18—opening doors to the resources and opportunities they deserve.
