South Shore Art Center brings Art Builds Community program to Randolph High School Stars and Randolph Extended Day Stars

South Shore Art Center (SSAC) brought their visual arts initiative, Art Builds Community, to Randolph High School (RHS) Stars and Randolph Extended Day (RED) Stars. SSAC was engaged as an independent contractor by the First Congregational Church of Randolph (along with funding from the Boston University School of Theology) to deliver free visual arts programming to Randolph Public School students. South Shore Stars is thrilled to be a recipient of this initiative. Stars students learned about how the street art movement and murals in cities like Bogota, Columbia and the South Shore and Boston have become a powerful force in promoting arts, culture and economic development.
