From Books to Campgrounds: We are grateful for the time, energy, and helping hands of State Street and Morgan Stanley Corporate Volunteer Partners!

At Stars, we are deeply grateful for the ongoing support of our incredible corporate partners who consistently show up with their time, talents, and heart in support of our mission.

A huge thank you to the 10 volunteers from State Street Corporation, who joined us on Thursday, April 10th at our headquarters to help sort, screen, and organize nearly 900 donated books. These generous contributions—sourced from Cradles to Crayons’ Read Across America initiative and additional donations from Kohl’s including stuffed animals —will soon find their way into the hands of children in our Early Childhood, Preschool, and Afterschool programs.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the 10 volunteers from Morgan Stanley who spent Friday, April 11th helping us pack up and prepare Stars Camp for its next chapter. From moving picnic tables to breaking down equipment, their efforts marked a meaningful close to 50 incredible years of summer memories. As we look ahead to the new Stars Camp experience in 2026, we carry forward a legacy of joy, growth, and adventure—made possible by partners like Morgan Stanley.
