State Street Volunteers Return and Bring the Spring to Stars!
With a “spring” in their step and a whole lot of heart, State Street volunteers returned to Stars Headquarters at Libbey Parkway in Weymouth, transforming our grounds into a vibrant, welcoming space for children and families to enjoy this season.

We are deeply grateful for the ongoing partnership with State Street and especially for Lisa Gaines, who has devoted over 25 years to coordinating these meaningful volunteer efforts. Thanks to her leadership and the enthusiasm of both new and returning volunteers, our campus is now blooming with fresh mulch, colorful florals, and pristine, tidy grounds.
The volunteers spent the day raking, sweeping, planting, and mulching around our headquarters at 163 Libbey Parkway—making sure the space feels as warm and inviting as the spring sunshine. And yes, they even had pizza delivered for lunch to keep everyone energized!
We were delighted to welcome the team with a tour of our programs and a sneak peek of our upcoming Stars School & Learning Center, opening this September for children in grades K–5 with language-based learning differences, including dyslexia.
Thank you, State Street, for helping us kick off spring with beauty, energy, and community spirit!
