Summer Starts Here: A Fresh New Look for Stars Atlantic, Thanks to Point32 Health Volunteers

On Wednesday, June 4th, the Stars Atlantic Afterschool program got a seasonal refresh thanks to the incredible volunteer power of Point32 Health. A team of 15 enthusiastic volunteers arrived in full force—sporting their signature Point32 volunteer tees and ready to roll up their sleeves.

Throughout the day, the volunteers transformed the outdoor space enjoyed by more than 100 children each day. From raking and weeding to filling nearly 20 bags and containers with yard debris, their hard work set the stage for a summer of fun and outdoor play. They also added a pop of color and joy by planting vibrant pink flowers in pots throughout the property. Thanks to their energy and generosity, the 100+ children in our afterschool program now have an even more beautiful and inviting space to enjoy this summer along with the soon-to-be mother turkey found sitting pensively on her nest for her hatchlings to enjoy the refreshed grounds as well!

To top off the day, the Point32 Health team generously treated the volunteer crew to a delicious pizza lunch.
